Resolving urgent electrical faults: restoring supply, tracing why a circuit breaker or RCD has tripped, and making damaged wiring and equipment safe.

Larger works that require design and planning: electrical design and installation for residential or commercial premises, main distribution boards, street lighting refurbishment, automation and bespoke solutions.

Inspection, testing and documentation
A new or altered electrical installation must be inspected by an accredited body before it is put into service, and that inspection requires valid test reports. We carry out the testing and prepare the documentation so that the inspection passes first time.

- Continuity of protective, PEN and protective bonding conductors
- Insulation resistance measurement

- Test reports produced with calibrated instruments, with results compared against the requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission standards
Documentation and inspection

We do not carry out the statutory inspection ourselves. The inspection must be performed by an accredited inspection body that is independent of the installer. We arrange it through our partner, or through a body of your choosing.

The minimum charge is one hour. Time beyond that is billed in 15-minute increments. The site consultation fee is deducted if you go on to order the work. Materials and, where applicable, parking charges are added to the price.
VAT is added to all prices. Travel costs outside the service area are agreed separately.
