wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Earthing system<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">The ground is a mix of gravel, sand and limestone, with an expected resistivity in the range of 500\u20131500 \u03a9\u00b7m. From an earthing point of view this is difficult ground \u2014 the same arrangement gives a resistance several times higher here than it would in clay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The originally planned solution would have required a long buried steel conductor. Technically sound, but unreasonably expensive given the volume of excavation involved. We worked through an alternative and proposed a combination: <strong>40 m of RD10 round conductor at a depth of 0.7\u20131 m, combined with earth rods driven beneath the building.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Calculated result: <strong>16.1 \u03a9<\/strong> at a soil resistivity of 500 \u03a9\u00b7m and <strong>48.4 \u03a9<\/strong> at 1500 \u03a9\u00b7m. The building is not required to have a lightning protection system, so this level meets the requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>New technical solution<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">Combining a horizontal earth conductor with rods delivers three advantages at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"line-height:1.6\" class=\"wp-block-list ext-animate--on ext-work-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Less excavation<\/strong> \u2014 half the trench length, the same result<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>ring earth electrode arrangement<\/strong> \u2014 the conductor runs around the building in both directions, so a single failed connection does not cause a complete break<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>More stable result<\/strong> \u2014 the rods reach deeper, where soil moisture, and therefore resistivity, varies less seasonally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">In variable ground this combination is more dependable than either arrangement on its own \u2014 and it stays stable for decades.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide ext-animate--on has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-9ae4d60b wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Documentation<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">The works concluded with testing and the handover of documentation: test reports and handover records.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons ext-animate--on is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-e2b88f80 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-ext-preset--button--natural-1--button-1 ext-animate--on is-style-ext-preset--button--natural-1--button-1--3\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"mailto:info@helmut.ee\">REQUEST A QUOTE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tehtud t\u00f6\u00f6de kokkuv\u00f5te V\u00e4litrasside paigaldust\u00f6\u00f6d kiirtoidurestoranis Maanduspaigaldis Pinnas on kruusa, liiva ja paekivi segu, mille eeldatav eritakistus j\u00e4\u00e4b vahemikku 500\u20131500 \u03a9\u00b7m.
