Brief description:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The premises use industrial Techno-B refrigeration units<\/strong> \u2014 a cold room <\/strong>and freezer<\/strong> - each with its own built-in<\/strong> electronic control. To monitor their temperature, an independent duplicated remote monitoring<\/strong> and alarm system has been added alongside<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monitoring system<\/strong> consists two separate<\/strong> Shelly 1PM Gen3 modules with Shelly Plus Add-on interfaces and DS18B20 digital temperature sensors. In each storage room, two independent sensors measure the temperature,<\/strong>mounted on different devices \u2014 so the failure of one device does not interrupt monitoring.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Freezer<\/strong>: an alert is sent if the temperature rises above -10\u00b0C (too warm) or falls below -24\u00b0C (too cold). Normal operating temperature is -17\u2026-19\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cold room<\/strong>: an alert is sent if the temperature rises above +6.1\u00b0C (too warm) or falls below 0\u00b0C (too cold). Normal operating temperature is +1...+4\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When a limit is exceeded<\/strong>, an automatic <\/strong>alert is sent to the responsible member of staff <\/strong>and the owner<\/strong>. The system also detects loss of network connection<\/strong> and reports it immediately<\/strong>. Temperature data is recorded in real time <\/strong>and is available both locally <\/strong>and remotely<\/strong>, making it possible to demonstrate compliance <\/strong>with the required temperature regime at any point in time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temperature is measured with Vinson DS18B20 digital temperature sensors (manufacturer: ELDES Alarms, Lithuania), with a measuring range of -55\u00b0C to +125\u00b0C and an accuracy of \u00b10.5\u00b0C between -10\u00b0C and +85\u00b0C. The sensors are factory calibrated and require no external calibration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the system detects a temperature alarm<\/strong>, a phone notification<\/strong> is sent to the owner<\/strong>, the responsible member of staff<\/strong> and the technician:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sensor, the room and the exact time the deviation was detected are also logged by address<\/strong>, and the alert repeats<\/strong> until someone resolves the problem<\/strong> or acknowledges it manually (everything is traceable<\/strong> in the system, to prevent both mistakes and spoiled food).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Temperature is monitored through a web interface<\/strong> and a phone app<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fluctuations in the minimum<\/strong>, maximum and average temperature<\/strong> are visible at a glance<\/strong>, making review straightforward for the owner<\/strong> and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selecting a date range <\/strong>in the app gives access to the data in different <\/strong>formats and intervals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phone app has no monthly fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
